MOONSTONES

Shimmering, iridescent tones ...

MOONSTONES brings together three resynthesis engines in a single instrument.

By combining short multi-samples, wavetables and long samples in granular mode, MOONSTONES gives you a very powerful sound manipulation tool.

This power is made easy to grasp through a user interface based on self-explanatory pictograms and intelligent macros.

Expressive

MOONSTONES is loaded with samples produced with hardware modular synthesizers through selected peripherals. In addition to sounds created from scratch, MOONSTONES also features samples recorded in the field and then altered by character-rich modules.

To ensure expressive and dynamic sounds, MOONSTONES has a large number of modulation sources (up to 7 LFOs per engine), a velocity response thanks to several layers of samples and carefully selected and calibrated processing and effects

Easy to handle

After the success of STIGMATA, it took us almost two years of research and development to bring you its successor. Rather than make STIGMATA even more complex, we wanted to make it not only better, but also more streamlined.

Like its ancestor, MOONSTONES is a series in itself. This means that future updates and new MOONSTONES instruments will be released at no extra cost*.
(See ‘Our Update Policy’ at the bottom of the page)

More than just a texture machine, MOONSTONES plays almost like a classic synthesiser, offering modulated timbres whose presence you determine at every moment.

MOONSTONES is our new sound context generator, and it will soon be yours!

*OUR UPDATE POLICY

Our ‘flagships’, such as STIGMATA or, in this case, MOONSTONES, are collections in their own right.
As such, they benefit from a two-point updating programme.

Firstly, quality updates: bug fixes and enhancements. Based on feedback from our users, we endeavour to correct any problems as quickly as possible. We also listen to suggestions for improving the use of the instrument concerned. This also means adding new features.

Then there are the continuity updates. These are new instruments that are gradually added to the collection. If we take the example of STIGMATA, our previous flagship, the collection has been gradually expanded, from 8 to over 20 instruments.
Continuity updates are interesting both for users, who regularly get new instruments without spending more, and for us, because they continually revitalise the product.

Most of the time, quality updates are accompanied by continuity updates.
We think this is the nicest way to keep our instruments alive while giving you an extra dose of inspiration.

Minimum system requirements

MOONSTONES is an instrument for Kontakt, the full version is a must, you can use MOONSTONES from Kontakt version 8. In addition to the official recommendations of Native Instruments, we have determined that MOONSTONES feels most comfortable with a 7th generation Intel i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM (16 recommended) and a screen with a minimum resolution of 1920x1080. It is very fond of controllers (MIDI keyboards, pads, button controllers and others), we strongly advise you to take advantage of them.
